This camp is primarily designed for rising 5th-9th graders, but is open to accepting additional students outside of this range by request.
Price
$375 - Includes: A Custom Jersey & 2 Tickets to Carolina Core v Philadelphia Union II for 1 Student & 1 Family Member (18+) on Wednesday July 30th at 7:30 PM ET. Lunch is included, but families can also provide food & snacks.
Description
Students will go on a content creation journey with the backdrop of soccer through Carolina Core FC & Rocket League. Each day, students will learn about different content creation skills such as broadcasting, graphic design, video editing, and gameday operations, leading to students creating their own highlight reel from touring and attending a game at Truist Point Stadium on Wednesday, July 30th at 7:30PM between Carolina Core FC & Philadelphia Union II & running their own miniature esports tournament.
About the Camp
Carolina Core
Students will tour Truist Point Stadium, before attending a game and recording footage to create their own highlight reel from the experience.
Students will use Rocket League to learn a variety of different skills toward creating their highlight reel, alongside game day operations to run their own video game tournament.
Camp Breakdown
Overview of the camp, introduction to content creation, and playing some great games.
Learn about live broadcasting, camera angles, and audio mixing.
Introduction to graphic design software, creating promotional materials and how to use broadcast software to stream live.
Students will learn how to edit video footage using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Students will run their own esports tournament using Rocket League.
